Ideally we’d only say “I Do” once and live happily ever after. But the sad truth is that sometimes marriages don’t last. And perhaps they don’t last because they just don’t work. Sounds like a simple problem with a simple solution, right? Actually, making a marriage work is a complex matter that often takes a lot of work!
Many factors can contribute to a failing marriage. Sometimes the fault lays with one person and some issues can be blamed on both parties. Even more importantly, some things that can adversely effect a marriage is a product of something completely out of our control; an act of God , if you will. Anything from financial matters, to family concerns, to trouble with the children, to mistrust, to lack of communication to just about anything that a couple can disagree on, can contribute to separation, which can ultimately end in divorce. Whatever the reason, if your marriage is failing, divorce should be a last resort. Always exhaust all other possibilities before going that route.
Then there’s always your average, run of the mill, all too common celebrity divorces. So much drama! A recent example is the very short lived marriage of Kim Kardashian. Check out the link below to read about her story
